Requirements

We take the safety and mental health of our users very seriously. In order to become a Therabridge Professional, there are requirements that you have to meet. To be able to ethically and legally practice as a counsellor and offer it as a paid service, you need to be registered with a recognized Mental Health Board.

As we are a web-based platform and we cater to people around the world, we do accept all globally recognized Mental Health Boards, regardless of the country of origin. Sometimes, however, there can be certain complications. If that is the case, we will discuss everything with you in detail.

General Requirements:

• An active, board registration or board-approved clinical license (e.g., ASCHP, HPCSA, SACSSP, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD in Clinical Psychology, etc.)*
• Reliable internet connection
• Computer/Laptop/Tablet/Phone with the ability to conduct video and voice calls via Zoom or Google Meet

Location-Specific Requirements:

Dependent on your locale, further requirements will be discussed with you directly. The reason for these specific requirements in because of practising limitations and regional licenses in certain countries. (eg: The United States requires licensing per state, with the ability to only practise in said state.)
