About me

I am a dedicated and experienced social worker with 18 years of professional experience in
healthcare, child protection, mental health, and substance abuse. I am registered with the South
African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and hold a Bachelor of Social Work
degree. Currently, I am completing a Master’s degree in Social Work Child Protection at North
West University, where I have gained specialized skills in forensic report writing, mentorship, and
strategic case evaluation.

Throughout my career, I have excelled in providing compassionate support, conducting
assessments, and developing tailored interventions for individuals, families, and communities. I
specialize in holistic development, trauma counseling, grief and loss support, couples and marriage
counseling, substance abuse and addiction counseling, forensic report writing, and group therapy.

I am a member of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), I actively
engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops, seminars, and
conferences to stay updated on evidence-based practices. I am deeply committed to empowering
clients, advocating for social justice, and fostering resilience through holistic and client-centered
care.
